The design is inspired by tactical military boots, but this update features a truly innovative and easily removable ballistic mesh/patent leather collar which allows the Drop Top to be worn as a high or a mid top. The contrasting black ballistic mesh and white patent leather removable collar is a unique color pop that makes the JK Drop Top Core stand apart from the crowd.
The super light weight sneaker fits well above the ankle with the collar on, has an extra tall tongue perfect for tucking your skinny denim into. When worn collarless as a mid top, the JK has a unique silhouette that you won't find anywhere else (which is why you love Heyday in the first place).
The low profile rubber cup soles form the Heyday logo when placed together, have flex grooves in the forefoot like technical running shoes and have 360 degree stitching make for a completely secure mechanical bond from upper to sole. Inside you'll find a molded EVA footbed and plush terry cloth lining.
