Heyday's light weight Johnny K boot profile has been adjusted for street use. The design is inspired by tactical military boots, but this update features a truly innovative and easily removable ballistic mesh and patent leather collar which allows the Drop Top to be worn as a high or a mid top. Premium Black suede is accented by matching patent leather on the eyestay and 1680 denier ballistic nylon mesh on the quarter, tongue and removable collar. The contrasting white ballistic mesh and black patent leather removable collar is a unique color pop that makes the JK Drop Top Core stand apart from the crowd.

The super light weight sneaker fits well above the ankle with the collar on, has an extra tall tongue perfect for tucking your skinny denim into. When worn collarless as a mid top, the JK has a unique silhouette that you won't find anywhere else (which is why you love Heyday in the first place).

The low profile rubber cup soles form the Heyday logo when placed together, have flex grooves in the forefoot like technical running shoes and have 360 degree stitching make for a completely secure mechanical bond from upper to sole. Inside you'll find a molded EVA footbed and plush terry cloth lining.
